Branch Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside a leading builders' merchant who are looking to recruit two experienced Branch Managers to join the team and manage the key branches (1 x Ballymena or 1 x Balmoral).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the branch team to achieve business goals
• Grow sales, margin and profitability through strong commercial focus
• Build lasting relationships with trade customers and generate new business
• Ensure the highest standards of customer service throughout the branch
• Oversee stock control and merchandising to maximise sales opportunities
• Monitor KPIs and operational performance, identifying continuous improvement
• Maintain full compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety standards
• Promote a positive, professional and high-performing working culture

Essential Criteria

• Experienced leader within builders' merchant or construction product environment
• Proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving KPIs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident decision-maker with commercial awareness and a proactive approach
• Ability to effectively manage, support and develop a team
• Competent in maintaining systems, operational controls and compliance
