MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established Top 10 Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Audit Senior Manager/Associate Director on a full time, permanent basis.

The Company:

A professional services firm based in Northern Ireland operates as part of a wider network across Ireland, employing over 2,700 staff across 10 offices. The firm provides a broad range of services including audit, accounting, corporate finance, forensic analysis, tax, and payroll support. It was recently acquired by a U.S.-based member firm within the same global network, significantly expanding its international reach and client base.

Job Duties of the Audit Senior Manager/Associate Director include:

• Lead and manage audits across a varied client portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Build lasting client relationships through deep business understanding and value-driven insights.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and firm audit methodologies.
• Supervise, coach, and develop audit team members to strengthen team capability.
• Combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to manage engagements effectively.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals and pitches.
• Collaborate with Partners on strategic initiatives and audit practice growth.

What you need to be the Successful Audit Senior Manager/Associate Director

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong technical expertise in Irish GAAP and auditing standards; IFRS experience a plus
• Proven ability to manage client portfolios and lead audit engagements
• Skilled in using electronic audit tools and methodologies
• Effective team leader with the ability to motivate and manage under pressure
• Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships
