Accounts Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant - Belfast

The company was established over 25 years ago and provide their clients with a range of Accountancy services such as Audit, Advisory, Forensic Accounting, Payroll, Corporate restructuring and more.

The Role

You will have a wide range of duties, such as;

• Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships
• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, limited companies (LTD), and partnerships
• Complete and submit VAT returns accurately and on time
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and chase outstanding documents for year-end accounts

The Person

The ideal candidate will be:

• Strong experience in preparing statutory accounts
• ATI qualified, part-qualified (PQ) accountant, or qualified by experience (QBE)
• Open to candidates from industry or within the accounts team of a Big 4 firm
• Proficient in data entry and analysis using Excel
• Capable of extracting and handling payroll data
• Comfortable working with digital documentation and cloud-based systems
