Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join a highly respected public sector organisation in Northern Ireland on a 12-month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or fully qualified accounting professional to gain valuable experience within a large, complex organisation that plays a vital role in public service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts and financial reports

• Budget monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Supporting financial planning and control processes

• Assisting with audits and compliance requirements

• Providing financial advice and support to Managers

Essential Criteria:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills

• Experience working in a finance or accounting environment

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Desirable:

• Experience within the public sector or large complex organisations

• Knowledge of financial governance and regulatory frameworks
