Ruairi Meehan

Ruairi Meehan joined MCS Group in October 2025. In his role as Specialist Recruitment Consultant , he works closely with accountancy practices and finance professionals across regional Northern Ireland (outside of Belfast) as well as the Republic of Ireland, supporting both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process. His day-to-day focus is on understanding the hiring needs of practice firms and aligning them with the right talent, from early-career professionals to senior leadership.

Ruairi specialises in the accountancy practice market, covering key areas such as audit, tax, payroll, accounts, advisory, and bookkeeping. He recruits across a wide range of roles, from trainee accountants and accounts technicians through to director- and partner-level appointments.

He is building a strong presence within this market, developing relationships with hiring managers and business leaders, engaging with the wider accountancy community across his regions.

Prior to joining MCS Group, Ruairi worked within the Civil Service, where he developed strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Outside of work, he enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Padel, and weightlifting.
