Daire O'Connor

Daire O'Connor joined MCS Group in August 2025 and works as a Specialist Recruitment Consultant within the IT Infrastructure market. In his role, he partners with technology leaders and hiring managers across Northern Ireland to help them build strong infrastructure and IT operations teams. Daire works closely with both clients and candidates, supporting organisations through the full hiring process while helping technical professionals identify opportunities that align with their skills and long-term goals.

His market is the Northern Ireland technology sector, with a focus on IT Infrastructure and related areas. This includes roles across infrastructure engineering, networks, AI, Automation , Service Delivery, and IT support within manufacturing, professional services, logistics, and technology-led organisations.

Daire studied Computing at UCD, before deciding to pursue a career in Professional Football, playing in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland over the last 10 years. Currently playing with Ballymena United in the Irish League, he is now balancing his transition into IT Recruitment.
