Transformation Project Manager (Utilities)

MCS Group is urgently recruiting a Transformation Project Manager for our client based in Belfast on a 6 month temporary contract basis.

This is an urgent need for our Utilities client based in Belfast, offering an immediate start for the successful candidate.

Join a high impact transformation programme at the forefront of Northern Ireland's energy future. MCS Group is looking for a Transformation Project Manager to help deliver key business and change initiatives, including the strategic separation of a business unit from its parent company.

You will work closely with business subject matter experts and cross functional teams across the business all within a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on innovation, sustainability, and reliability.

• Lead and support business transformation projects from planning to implementation
• Manage governance, risk, and reporting processes
• Work closely with SMEs to ensure smooth delivery and stakeholder engagement

The successful candidate will

• A degree or equivalent qualification and two years of relevant experience or at least four years' relevant experience (relevant experience of business analysis and/or project management, project delivery).
• Proven ability to identify, define and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills with an emphasis on high quality reporting.
• experience with tools like MS Teams & SharePoint
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and progress the activity of others with excellent interpersonal and team/relationship building skills.
• Bonus: PRINCE2/Agile certification or energy/utilities experience
