MCS Group is exclusively partnering with our client in Belfast to recruit a Trade Compliance Officer (Customs/Export).

Based in Belfast, this role is part of the Trade Compliance Team, reporting to the Head of Trade Compliance.

The position is responsible for ensuring site objectives are achieved in full compliance with international trade control laws, regulations, and policies, particularly those governing UK and US export controls and UK Customs.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge and practical experience with UK and US export regulations (ITAR, EAR) and UK customs regulations, with at least 1-3 years' experience in import/export controls
  • Ideally, you will hold a relevant degree
  • It would be highly desirable if you have experience working within defence and/or dual-use sectors and/or familiarity with EU export controls
