Team Lead - Quality & Compliance Operations

The Opportunity
My client is seeking a Team Lead to oversee a busy operational team within their Business Services function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards while driving efficiency and process improvement. This is a people-focused role with the added opportunity to build technical expertise in a specialist environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop team members through structured feedback, one-to-ones, and team meetings
Manage training, development, and performance to ensure continuous improvement
Maintain high levels of service delivery, proactively addressing challenges and escalating issues where necessary
Resource plan effectively to ensure continuity of service, including cover for absences and workload fluctuations
Contribute to departmental projects and process enhancements
Develop technical understanding to provide guidance and support to team operations
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers across shifts
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in people management within a professional services environment
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
A genuine interest in developing technical knowledge in a document-focused setting
Ability to manage operational challenges in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and excellent client service
