Senior test engineer

MCS are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior test engineer for a successful software company for their Belfast office.

Our client is a locally success story that has created a platform which has a massive impact across the energy industry.

Due to their continued growth and success, there is an opportunity Senior test engineer to join their team and be responsible for end to end testing across their projects.

You will be working closely with a talented team of developers and cloud professionals and be responsible for driving forward best practices.

What you will be doing

• Build & maintain automation frameworks across backend and frontend applications
• Create and maintain ci/cd pipelines
• Finding bugs in software and assist with releases
• Train team members in good testing practices as well as mentoring / managing more junior staff.

About you

• You will have experience in a similar role as a senior test engineer
• Ideally have strong experience in java, python, javascript or similar
• Experience of api testing
• Ideally have exposure to cloud technologies
• Great communication skills
• Possess a third level qualification e.g. BSc, computer science, information technology or similar
