Senior Sales Executive (Wholesale Fashion)

MCS Group is currently working alongside one of Ireland's leading fashion agencies to recruit a Senior Sales Executive to be based in Dublin.

Matching top fashion brands and professional retailers for over 30 years the organisation supplies medium to high end Scandinavian fashion brands to boutiques and department stores across the UK & Ireland.

The successful candidate will have a substantial knowledge of the fashion industry, having worked in either fashion wholesale or retail sector. You will have experience of selling forward order collections, in-season OTB sales and developing both their existing account base and new business opportunities.

The company operates on a 4-day working week model - Monday to Thursday.

Core Responsibilities:

• Merchandise, present and sell fashion collections, both forward order and in-season
• Effective set-up and pack-down of collections along with maintaining a presentable showroom
• Relationship and financial management of all accounts
• Manage entire sales cycle from on-the-road prospecting to order processing
• Setting and managing brand budgets
• Social media development
• Local and international travel as required to trade shows and brand meetings

Essential Criteria:

• 2+ years' of wholesale fashion sales or buying experience
• Successes in business development through prospecting and exceeding sales targets
• Full drivers licence and own car
• Strong in-person presentation and communication skills
• Strong telephone presence with ability to host conference calls and meetings
• Ability to train customers' staff on brand collections
• High levels of motivation, enthusiasm and an innovative approach
• Ability to work both independently and with a small team
• Liaise with international brands
• Flexible schedule based on business requirements
