Senior Software Engineer - .NET (Hybrid, Belfast)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing complex backend services using modern .NET technologies. You'll be hands-on across microservices, SQL, cloud technologies, and emerging data tools - while contributing directly to architectural decisions.

You will:

• Build and enhance backend services using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core

• Contribute to microservices-based systems and high-performance data pipelines

• Lead on code quality, peer reviews, and engineering best practices

• Help shape technical direction within an Agile team

• Solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

• Play a key part in delivering secure, scalable, enterprise-grade software

What We're Looking For

We want to speak with Software Engineers who have:

Essential Skills:

• Solid experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core

• Strong SQL experience

• Experience in building microservices

• High attention to detail, strong communication, and a proactive approach

Desirable:
Experience with any of the following would be a bonus:

• CI/CD pipelines
• Azure or AWS
• Kubernetes
• Kafka.
