The Role

As Senior HR Generalist, you'll partner closely with managers to provide full HR support across the employee journey - from hiring and onboarding to performance, engagement, and development. You'll balance hands-on operational work with involvement in strategic projects that drive continuous improvement and positive culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day HR advice and coaching to managers and employees.

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.

• Support performance reviews, engagement activities, and change management.

• Manage employee relations, absence, and wellbeing initiatives.

• Keep HR policies, documentation, and compliance records up to date.

• Coordinate learning and development plans.

• Contribute to HR metrics, reporting, and improvement projects.

About You

• Proven background in a generalist HR role, ideally in manufacturing or another fast-moving environment.

• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.

• CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.

• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

• Confident working independently while collaborating with the wider HR function.
