Senior HR Advisor - Manufacturing

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take ownership of a site-based role in a fast-moving environment?
We're seeking a Senior HR Advisor to support a busy manufacturing operation, providing hands-on HR guidance while driving initiatives that enhance performance, engagement, and compliance.

The Role

As Senior HR Advisor, you'll partner with managers to deliver effective HR solutions across the employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance, and development. This standalone role offers both operational responsibility and involvement in strategic HR projects that support continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and coaching to managers and employees.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and induction activities.
• Support performance management, employee engagement, and change initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, absence management, and wellbeing support.
• Maintain and update HR policies, records, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate training and development plans.
• Contribute to HR reporting and site-wide improvement projects.

About You

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within manufacturing or a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• CIPD qualified or working towards
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident working both independently and as part of a wider HR team.
