Senior Full Stack Developer - VP of Technology

MCS Group is seeking Senior Full Stack Engineers to join a global financial powerhouse as they look to build a new team within their Belfast HQ. In this role, you will support in end to end greenfield development for a new transactions platform, which has a 7-8 year roadmap. These roles are VP level, with opportunities for growth as the business plans to triple in size in Belfast!

The role

• Design and develop an enterprise level platform in the banking/transactions space
• End to end development using Java/Spring/React/TypeScript
• Contribute and influence best practices across the complete software Development Life Cycle
• Communicate ideas, drive user demos, and work with business stakeholders to iterative development lifecycle in an Agile environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and locally

Needed to succeed

• 7+ years experience working on full-stack applications
• Understanding and examples working on enterprise level applications
• Background in banking/investment/payments sector or similar
• Be able to commit to on-site work; hybrid + flexible
