MCS Group are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a highly reputable energy organisation in the Dublin area.

The Company:

Our client is a well established energy company in the Dublin area. They provide a range of services and products to their extensive residential and commercial customer base across Ireland. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to add a Senior Financial Accountant to their Dublin finance team.

The Rewards:

As the successful Senior Financial Accountant, you will receive the following:

• €80-85k;
• Bonus (20%);
• Flexible/hybrid working options (2 days office/3 days home);

The Role:

As the successful Senior Financial Accountant you will report directly to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the following:

• Mentor junior members of the team;
• Month-end close process;
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual management accounts;
• Liaise with key stakeholders
• Assist with annual budget, forecasting and 5 year planning processes;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Senior Financial Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent;
• Strong financial reporting experience;
• Strong IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
