MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with an established global tech company with a engineering hub in Belfast that is expanding its Data & AI Platform Team as part of a multi-year digital transformation.

They develop digital manufacturing intelligence tools used by world-leading manufacturers to make smarter design, sourcing, and production decisions - combining cloud data, AI, and digital twin technology to drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.

The Role

This is a hands-on AI engineering role within a collaborative, product-driven team building a next-generation data platform that leverages proprietary data to deliver advanced insights and AI capabilities.

You'll design and implement both LLM-driven and traditional AI/ML solutions, embedding intelligent automation into core products and data workflows.

It's a greenfield opportunity with real freedom to shape how AI is built, deployed, and scaled across the organisation.

You'll Be Working On

• Designing and deploying AI/ML solutions - from traditional models to GenAI applications.
• Building LLM-based pipelines (using LangChain and related tooling).
• Embedding AI-driven features and automation into cloud-based products.
• Collaborating with product, data, and engineering teams to make data AI-ready and improve customer ROI tenfold.
• Using tools like AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and GCP Vertex AI.

What You'll Need

• Strong background in AI/ML engineering and data engineering principles.
• Proven experience building and deploying GenAI applications into production.
• Hands-on experience with LLM tooling (e.g. LangChain).
• Cloud experience with AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock) or GCP Vertex AI.
• Collaborative mindset - able to bridge between data, product, and engineering teams.
