Senior Accounts Assistant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established construction materials supplier based in Lisburn who are seeking to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Company

Our client is a well-established organisation within the construction industry, recognised for its stability and supportive culture. You'll join a close-knit accounts team in a busy, fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to develop long-term into a supervisory role.

The Rewards

As the successful Accounts Assistant, you will receive the following:

• Competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000

The Role

As the successful Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
• Handle bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and cash collection
• Oversee purchasing, invoicing of deliveries, and stocktakes
• Support reporting and collaborate closely within a busy accounts team

The Person

The successful Accounts Assistant will meet the following criteria:

• Experienced in a busy accounts environment
• Part-qualified or studying (preferred, although not essential)
• Strong IT and accounting systems skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused with scope to progress long-term
