Senior Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a global financial services company based in Belfast.

The Company:

Our client is a global financial services company based in Belfast with multiple sites across North America, EMEA and APJ regions. They are an award winning business that provide a variety of services to their extensive global customer base. Now is an exciting time to be joining the company as they looking to a Senior Accountant to their growing Belfast team.

The Role:

As the successful Senior Accountant, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparation of financial reports for a portfolio of funds;
• Develop an understanding of all entities within the fund structure;
• Ensure accounts production in accordance with US GAAP, UK GAAP or IFRS;
• Establish reporting procedures for new funds;
• Liaise with key stakeholders;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Senior Accountant will have the following characteristics:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent;
• Open to practice or industry background;
• Strong IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
