The Role


As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you'll provide desktop and application support across a busy site environment. You'll also have the chance to get involved in IT projects and support specialist systems, with full training provided where required.
This position is ideal for someone with solid 1st/2nd line experience who wants to broaden their skills and contribute to a varied workload in a professional setting.
This is a varied and challenging role that will suit someone who enjoys getting stuck into different areas of IT and is looking for a professional, stable environment where attention to detail really matters. Key Responsibilities

  • Desktop and application support (Windows 10/11).
  • Troubleshooting hardware, printers, mobiles/tablets, and basic networking.
  • ERP support - SAP or other ERP experience an advantage.
  • Supporting and contributing to wider IT projects.
  • Ensuring high standards of attention to detail in a regulated environment.

What They're Looking For

  • 1-2 years' experience in a 1st/2nd line hybrid or 2nd line support role.
  • Strong Windows desktop/application support skills.
  • Professional, approachable, and detail-focused attitude.
  • ERP/SAP knowledge, manufacturing sector experience, or Intune exposure - desirable but not essential.
