SAP BI Analyst

MCS Group are seeking an experienced SAP BI/Data Analyst for an industry leading organisation with a strong data-driven culture. You will be an integral part in the company's SAP reporting and analytics capability. The analyst will play a hands-on role developing, migrating, and supporting SAP BI solutions that drive business decision-making across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP reporting solutions across BW (Business Warehouse) and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Support business users with data queries, report requests, and SAP BI support tickets (approx. 40% BAU, 60% development/migration).
• Migrate manual or legacy reports into SAP tools, improving automation and data quality.
• Engage directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Participate in ongoing initiatives including SAP data enhancements, cloud adoption, and integration of new datasets.

The Ideal Person

• Someone who combines technical expertise in SAP BI with strong business communication skills.
• Solid experience with SAP reporting tools (BW, SAC, or related SAP BI environments).
• Proven experience supporting and developing reports for business teams.
• Confidence working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently within a small, agile BI team.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience across both front-end reporting and data modelling in BW or related tools.
• Exposure to SAP Data Sphere, cloud analytics, or integrating non-SAP data sources.
• Familiarity with complex multi-system business environments.

Salary - £30,000-50,000, depending on experience, with a great benefits package
