Radiographer- MRI

Are you ready to make a difference within a busy MRI team?

We're recruiting on behalf of Southern Health and Social Care Trust to add Radiographers who specialise in MRI.

As a Radiographer, you will perform MRI scanning duties. Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care during MRI procedures. Support the smooth operation of MRI services across all designated sites. Participate in a 7-day working rota.

The role:

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and safe patient care in line with MRI safety standards and HSC values.

• Carry out duties in compliance with infection prevention, health and safety policies, statutory regulations, and the Trust's Smoke Free and Equal Opportunities policies.

• Adhere to professional codes of conduct, including HSC, SOR, and HCPC standards, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Maintain high standards of personal work, teamwork, and attendance, ensuring efficiency and quality service delivery.

• Perform MRI scanning across Antrim Hospital and other Northern Trust sites as required, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and any issues are promptly reported.

• Support and guide junior staff by sharing knowledge and experience, and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.

• Build effective working relationships, uphold public confidence in services, and continuously evaluate work against performance and quality standards.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Radiography degree/diploma.

• Valid HCPC registration.

• Post-qualifcation experience in MRI- working with GE Optima 450W 1.5T and Siemens Sola scanners.
