Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company in County Tyrone, to recruit a Quality Control Inspector.
As a Quality Control inspector you will ensure products produced meet customer requirements and ensure quality control systems are maintained throughout manufacture. You will be responsible for working with staff in Quality and Technical departments.
You will;
- Carry out detailed goods inwards, work on the progress and finished build inspections to ensure conformity
- Monitor the quality of incoming parts and raw materials
- Perform routine visual and dimensional inspections
- Check for surface defects
- Use standard hand held measuring equipment, surface plate equipment, CMM, fixed gauging, thread gauges
- Compiling and complete CofC, FAIRS, and customer quality assurance
- Work closely with supply chain acting as a technical resource
Essential Requirements
- Degree level in Mechanical/manufacturing or quality engineering
- 2 years experience working as a quality inspector
- Working knowledge of QC tools
Desirable
- Knowledge of hydraulic cylinder manufacturing process
- Previous MRP/ERP experience
- ISO Internal Auditor qualified
