Purchasing Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with an amazing local Food Manufacturing company, to recruit a Purchasing Manager for their site in Monaghan.

Do you have a strong background in Purchasing/Procurement?

Have experience working in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment?

The Purchasing & Sustainability Manager is responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics to reduce expenses, negotiating deals, and managing vendors / suppliers. They will also drive sustainability initiatives in house as well as with suppliers.

You will;

• Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies
• Tracking and reporting KPIs in order to reduce expenses, improve effectiveness and mitigate risks.
• Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals.
• Forecast key prices and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
• Source and partner with reliable vendors / suppliers.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

Salary will be circa 55-60K!
