MCS are seeking a highly motivated, Project Support Officer (Band 5) to join Digital Operations team. This isn't just any admin role; you'll be at the heart of Business Services Organisation (BSO) ITS, working on the front line of health and social care to deliver innovative technology that saves lives.
As Project Support Officer, you will:
- Drive Delivery: Support the design, implementation, and documentation of complex ICT solutions
- Manage Systems: Provide top-tier administration expertise to ensure seamless project roll-outs
- Problem Solve: Record and resolve complex ICT incidents while ensuring data quality remains sharp
- Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders and software suppliers to turn requirements into reality
- Ensure Quality: Lead the charge on testing new project elements and documenting outcomes to hit every requirement
Who You Are We need someone with a mix of technical savvy and project experience. You should have:
- A University degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, an HND plus 2 years, or 4 years of solid experience in a project or ICT environment.
- At least 12 months of experience using business-related computer systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel are a must).
- A firm grasp of PRINCE2 - Bonus if qualified
- A proactive team player who can influence stakeholders and analyse complex information to support big decisions.
The Package
- Salary: £29,970/y | Pro-rata £15.33/h
- Duration: 6 Months - Extension Possible
- Start Date: January 2026
