Project Manager

MCS Group are excited to be working exclusively on a unique Project Manager opportunity with a Specialist Civils Contractor. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role by leading key projects across a range of sectors.

The Role

We are working with a unique civils contractor based in Belfast, to recruit a motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of multiple projects, from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role within a collaborative team by leading key projects across a range of sectors and collaborating closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.

You will;

• Manage projects of varying size and complexity across multiple sectors, from initiation to successful completion.
• Define scopes, objectives, and deliverables aligned with client and business goals, maintaining detailed plans, budgets, and reports.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication, risk management, and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee supplier and subcontractor relationships to secure best value and compliance with company and SHEQ requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through financial oversight, performance reviews, and lessons-learned evaluations.

The Ideal Candidate;

• Proven experience in project management within the civil or infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrated understanding of commercial project delivery, including financial metrics, budgeting, and profit margins
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering and construction methodologies
• NEC3/4 project management and NEBOSH Construction are desirable.
• Full valid driving licence.
