Programme Manager

MCS Group is looking for an experienced IT Programme Manager with a passion for project and programme delivery to join our client's team in Larne on a 12-month temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside both a local IT team and global IT colleagues on a range of IT projects, including software upgrades, new software implementations, and Salesforce initiatives.

As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, organisation and implementation of IT-related programmes and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. You'll oversee processes, monitor productivity, and keep senior stakeholders updated with programme-level reporting.

The Role

• Managing all aspects of projects, from planning through to delivery.
• Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.
• Ensuring adherence to project materials, deliverables, methodologies, and procedures.
• Preparing and presenting clear reports to senior management.
• Overseeing project productivity and team performance.

The Person

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in an IT-related programme/project management capacity.
• Degree qualified (or equivalent experience).
  
• Microsoft Office proficient, specifically Project and Planner, and ideally you will have experience of Salesforce.
• You will have experience of a systems implementation or migration for a project or programme management perspective.
• Strong background in project and programme management, planning, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with diverse teams, building relationships, and influencing decision-making.

Duration: 12-month temporary contract
Location: On-site in Larne, Co. Antrim
Salary: Hourly rate equivalent to £50k - £56k p.a. (depending on experience)
