Product Designer

MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering exclusively with one of Belfast's fastest-growing technology companies in their search for a Product Designer. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Product Designer who thrives on bringing clarity to complexity. If you love taking a blank canvas, messy problem, or ambitious idea and shaping it into something elegant, intuitive, and impactful - all within a high-growth SaaS product company - this might be for you.

Having completed a major multi-million pounds funding raise this year, our client has significant plans for growth over the next 12 months - think more than doubling their headcount from 45 to over 100, building out their already really successful platform and scaling their customer base internationally. As their new Product Designer, you'll get a chance to play a key role in all of this!

The Role

• Designing end-to-end product experiences: from early sketches and wireframes to polished prototypes and shipped features.
• Turning research and customer insights into thoughtful solutions that balance user needs, technical realities, and business goals.
• Partnering with product managers, engineers, and marketers to make sure design thinking is woven into every part of the product journey.
• Owning complex product areas and features, ensuring they're not only beautiful but also usable and scalable.
• Growing and evolving their Figma-based design system to keep everything consistent and future-proof.
• Working with some of the best Product folks in the industry, you'll bring a design voice to product strategy and roadmap discussions.
• Getting stuck into design critiques, feedback loops, and collaboration sessions to keep raising the bar.
• Advocating for accessibility and user-first thinking in everything you design.

You

• You'll have a portfolio that shows off your ability to create user-centred, well-crafted digital experiences (ideally with exposure to SaaS or mobile products).
• Hands-on experience in Figma and comfort working with shared design systems.
• You'll have a track record of taking features from fuzzy idea to final polish.
• Strong visual sensibility - you care about hierarchy, clarity, and craft.
• Confident, clear communication: you can explain the "why" behind your design choices.
• Experience working in Agile product teams alongside engineers and Product Managers.
• Detail-oriented, but you know when to sweat the pixels and when to move fast.
• A growth mindset and enthusiasm for building meaningful products with a great team.

Salary

• Up to £60,000 with a competitive package which includes equity.
