Plant Fitter

MCS Group is proud to be partnered with a well-known machinery company to recruit a Plant Fitter to be based out of their Cookstown site.

You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a diverse range of heavy plant and powered access machinery within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of heavy plant and powered access machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations.
• Collaborate with the team to contribute to overall success and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history.
• Utilise strong mechanical skills to ensure precision and reliability in all aspects of the job.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in maintaining the quality and performance of equipment.

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in the repair of plant and equipment.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of electrics, electronics, and hydraulics.
