Pharmacy Manager- Belfast

MCS Group is recruiting on behalf of a well established community pharmacy group to appoint a Pharmacy Manager to lead one of their busy pharmacy locations across Northern Ireland.

You will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective and commercially successful operation of the pharmacy while leading and developing a dedicated team.

The Role:

• Take full accountability for the day to day management and performance of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant practice at all times.

• Deliver high quality clinical and pharmaceutical care, supporting patients with medicines optimisation, counselling and professional advice.

• Lead, motivate and develop the pharmacy team, providing supervision, training and performance management to ensure excellent service standards.

• Drive the delivery and growth of NHS and private pharmacy services, including vaccinations and enhanced clinical services.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, professional and company standards, including GPhC or PSNI requirements and standard operating procedures.

• Manage stock control, dispensing accuracy, operational processes and commercial performance to meet business objectives.

• Build strong relationships with patients, GP practices and the wider healthcare community to enhance service integration and patient outcomes.

The Person:

• MPharm degree or equivalent and current registration with the GPhC or Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.

• Post qualification experience within a community pharmacy setting.

• Proven ability to lead and manage a pharmacy team in a fast paced environment.

• Strong clinical, organisational and communication skills with a patient focused approach.

• Previous Pharmacy Manager experience is desirable but not essential.
