An opportunity to provide specialist HR expertise across recruitment, employee relations and HR administration, acting as a trusted partner to deliver effective people solutions, support day-to-day HR operations, and promote a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Depaul is a cross‑border charity working to support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The organisation provides emergency accommodation, outreach, and housing services, aiming to prevent homelessness and improve lives. Guided by its values, Depaul works with individuals, families, and communities to create lasting change and promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

The role:

  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from workforce planning and sourcing to offers, onboarding, and maintaining HRIS (BambooHR) records.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure recruitment and HR practices comply with legislation and company policies, tracking and reporting key hiring metrics.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with ROI colleagues to strengthen employer branding and recruitment strategies.
  • Employee Relations: Support grievance, disciplinary and conflict resolution processes, providing HR advice and guidance to managers and staff.
  • Policy & Procedure Management: Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements.
  • HR Administration: Process employee lifecycle changes accurately on HR systems, supporting payroll and HR reporting.
  • Data & Insights: Maintain accurate HR data, produce reports and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Learning & Development: Coordinate mandatory training and inductions, maintaining accurate learning and development records.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

  • 3rd level qualification in a HR, Business or related field is essential
  • CIPD qualification is desirable
  • Experience in a role with HR generalist responsibilities
