Payroll Clerk Responsibilities
Verify employee hours worked
Calculate and process payments via BACS
Deduct tax and National Insurance
Create records for new employees
Process holiday, sick, maternity pay, and expenses
Calculate overtime, shift pay, and salary changes
Issue P45s and other tax forms
Payroll Clerk Requirements
Administrative experience
Strong numerical skills
Good IT proficiency
Collaborative team player
