MCS Group are exclusively partnering with a major UK-wide chartered financial planning firm in the Belfast area to recruit a skilled paraplanner.

The Company:

Our client is a very well-established financial services firm based in the Belfast area and have many offices across the UK. They provide a range of services from investment management, wealth management and tax planning to their extensive customer base. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to add a new Paraplanner role to their Financial Planning team in Belfast.

The Rewards:

As the successful Paraplanner, you will receive the following:

• £35,000 - £40,000 base salary (D.O.E) + extensive benefits

The Role:

As the successful Paraplanner you will report directly to the Financial Planning Director and will be responsible for the following:

• Working with advisers to create and deliver high-quality advice to clients
• Product research and suitability reporting and report writing
• Technical paraplanning in areas such as pensions, SIPP/SSAS, Inheritance tax (IHT), Commercial property purchases & more
• Attending client meetings when required
• Prepare meeting notes & conduct research
• Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver income objectives

The Person:

The successful Paraplanner will meet the following criteria:

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
• Paraplanning experience in an IFA environment
• Strong report writing experience
• Strong IT skills
• Strong communication skills
