Off Track Engineer

MCS Group is exclusively recruiting on behalf of Translink for an Off Track Engineer. This is an exciting new permanent opportunity based in Belfast.

The role:

The Off Track Engineer will be responsible for the management of track side assets to ensure the safety of public, passengers and staff. Key assets include lineside fencing, vegetation and signage, level crossings, access points and walkways. Ensure assets are inspected and maintained in accordance with NIR standards to ensure safety, durability and cost effectiveness.

Essential Criteria:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering or construction related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant engineering or construction related discipline.
• Experience of applying health, safety and environmental legislation requirements
• Experience in asset condition inspection, workload prioritization and technical specification
• Experience of interpreting and working to engineering standards.
• Experience of organising and managing resources including contract management to deliver works efficiently to agreed targets of cost and time
• Full current Driving license and access to a vehicle to fulfil the requirements of the post
