Level 3 Project Engineer - Dublin (MSP)

Location: Dublin 12 (onsite, minimum 4 days per week during probation)
Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 + benefits & bonus

This Dublin-based MSP has been building momentum since 2007. Now a 24-strong team in a brand-new office near the Red Cow, they've earned a reputation for being responsive, straightforward, and for creating an environment where engineers are supported, not burnt out.

They work with over 100 SME clients across professional services, engineering, and construction, typically supporting businesses with 50-150 users. The variety is there, but without the chaos of huge enterprise accounts.

Unlike some MSPs, you won't be clocking up hours of travel or pulled into endless late shifts. Instead, you'll be working on meaningful projects where you can see the impact of your work.

About the Role

This is the a new role in the projects team, working directly with the Head of Professional Services. As a Level 3 Project Engineer, you'll take ownership of delivering infrastructure and cloud projects end-to-end, with minimal handholding.

If you're a senior MSP engineer who's tired of firefighting and ticket queues, this is a chance to focus on doing projects properly: scoping, documenting, and delivering real solutions for clients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering projects across:

  • Azure migrations & hybrid environments

  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 rollouts

  • Intune & Conditional Access

  • Windows Server & Active Directory

  • Infrastructure deployments (on-prem & cloud)

  • Firewall & network projects (SonicWall)

• Working closely with leadership to scope, document, and deliver projects.

• Supporting pre-sales with technical input and proposals.

• Maintaining strong documentation and processes.

• Limited escalation support, but focus remains on project delivery.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years MSP experience (non-negotiable).

• Strong Microsoft expertise (Azure, M365, O365, Intune, AD, security).

• AZ-104 certification required.

• Proven track record of delivering client projects end-to-end.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Confident working independently but also collaborative with team and leadership.

Nice to Have:

• Additional Microsoft certs (AZ-700, SC-series).

• Firewall experience (SonicWall ideal).

• Broader networking skills (QoS, DHCP, Aruba, etc.).
