Microsoft Consultant (Belfast or Dublin)

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a leading global advisory and consulting firm to recruit a Microsoft Technology Consultant to join their growing Belfast or Dublin team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to help major Public Sector and Financial Services clients unlock the full potential of the Microsoft ecosystem through strategic guidance, solution design, and hands-on implementation.

The Opportunity

This role sits within a forward-thinking consulting practice that delivers transformative digital programmes powered by Azure, Dynamics 365, M365, and the Power Platform. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on digital strategies, leading cloud and application transformation projects, and shaping innovative solutions that deliver tangible business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Microsoft-based transformation initiatives, from cloud migration to enterprise application modernisation.

• Provide strategic advisory on Microsoft technologies - covering governance, security, optimisation, and digital transformation.

• Implement, configure, and integrate solutions across Azure, Dynamics 365 (ERP/CRM), M365, and the Power Platform.

• Design and deploy Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages) to improve efficiency and drive process automation.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure Microsoft solutions align with client objectives and regulatory standards.

• Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and thought leadership within the Microsoft advisory space.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring strong consulting experience and deep technical knowledge across the Microsoft technology stack. They'll be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, leading client discussions, and translating complex technical concepts into business outcomes.

You will demonstrate:

• Expertise in Microsoft technologies - particularly Azure services, Dynamics 365, M365, and the Power Platform.

• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end cloud or business application solutions.

• Strong understanding of security, governance, and integration best practices.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect, Dynamics 365 Consultant, Power Platform) are advantageous.
