Mechanical Design Engineer

MCS Group is proud to be working with a highly reputable engineering company to recruit an Mechanical Design Engineer in County Tyrone.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer:

You will;

• Design products for the water, waste-water and energy industries.
• Create design data including 2D Drawings Calculations, BOM, Equipment Schedules, P&I Diagrams, Control Philosophies and component specifications
• Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create designs and fabrication drawings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Track and monitor internal and external information exchange as per ISO 9001
• Conduct Quality checks on products

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum degree level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, or related product design etc.
• Minimum 1 years post graduation relevant experience in a similar role
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, including the ability to generate complex 3D CAD assemblies and drawings.
• Experience working with SolidWorks
• A full clean driving licence and access to a car

Desirable:

• Experience in fabrication environments
• 2 years or more post-graduate relevant experience
