Maintenance Engineer

MCS Group is pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established, award-winning food manufacturer to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on a temporary basis. The company has experienced significant growth and development in recent years, making it an exciting time to join the team.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment and utilities.

• Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and carry out timely repairs to minimise downtime.

• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS or maintenance logs.

You will have:

• Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environment.
