Lead Software Engineer

MCS Group is thrilled to be working with a cutting-edge software solution provider that is now establishing a new team in Belfast. After having achieved considerable success in the insurance industry, they have years of finance and development scheduled to establish their own SAAS. They are now looking for an ambitious Lead .Net developer with experience creating enterprise software to join this hugely exciting greenfield development project.

The Role

As a Lead Software Developer, you will be responsible for the technical leadership of a small development team and will collaborate with other departments to create the best product in the market through creating high-quality code. You will have ownership to assist in building out enterprise level software, coaching your team members and have constructive conversations about how to solve the challenges faced in bringing this software to market. This is a unique opportunity to work in a "start up" environment and really make a difference with your work.

Essential Criteria

• Experience developing in modern .NET technologies
• Experience developing web based applications
• Exposure to cloud technologies
