Role Overview:
As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company's product offerings. You will be responsible for leading the design team, driving the design strategy, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric designs that set the standard in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a cohesive and compelling user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the design process and outputs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Product Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise.
- Exceptional eye for design and attention to detail, consistently producing work at the top of the field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A go-getter attitude with the ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
- Pioneering creativity, constantly pushing the boundaries of design to deliver innovative solutions.
Desirable:
- Experience in the tech sector or with digital products.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies and how design integrates with them.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
