Lab Technician - Microbiology

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a large scale Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Laboratory Technician, within their Microbiology Department.

The role:

• The post holder will follow set protocols for the provision of microbiological culture media and support to an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory.
• Provide media, sterile glassware and reagents to enable the functioning of scientific processes, projects and routine testing of Food Pathogens.
• Be able to safely dispose of Laboratory waste.

The Person:

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs
• Driving license preferable.
