Lab Admin

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a large scale Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Laboratory Admin, within their Food Microbiology Department.

The role:

• Follow set protocols for the provision of microbiological culture media and support to an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory.

• Working in a team that provides media, sterile glassware and reagents to enable the functioning of scientific processes, projects and routine testing of Food Pathogens.

• Record media quality data and keep records appropriately.
• Dealing with the treatment and safe disposal of laboratory waste from Containment level 2 and 3 Food testing laboratories.

The Person:

• Driving License Preferable.
• 5 GCSE's A-C (Inculding Sciences).
• Science A Levels Desirable.
