Senior Tax Technology Consultant

Location: Hybrid (1 day per month in London)
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + benefits

I'm working with a fast-growing tax technology company building next-gen tools to help global businesses stay ahead of evolving tax regulations - including Pillar 2.

As demand increases, they're expanding their Solutions team and looking for a Senior Tax Technology Consultant to join them. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that blends your accounting/tax expertise with data and solution design - ideal for someone who's naturally analytical but also enjoys solving real-world client challenges.

You'll be the person who turns complex tax requirements into practical, data-driven solutions. You'll own delivery from discovery through to implementation, working closely with the product and engineering teams. There's real autonomy here, and your input will shape how the platform evolves.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading technical solution design for Pillar 2 and wider tax automation products

  • Gathering requirements from clients and translating them into structured solutions

  • Mapping and manipulating client data using SQL in the company's own platform

  • Partnering with product and engineering to influence future feature development

  • Supporting the delivery of demos and helping clients get real value from the platform

What They're Looking For

  • 3+ years in accounting, tax, or audit - either in practice or in-house

  • A recognised qualification (minimum part-qualified) - ACCA, ACA, or CTA

  • Strong experience working with structured data and hands-on SQL skills

  • Confident communicator - comfortable working with clients and cross-functional teams

  • Bonus if you've used tools like Power BI or worked in a SaaS/data-led environment

Why This Role Stands Out

  • The work is meaningful - helping businesses stay compliant with emerging regulations

  • You'll move fast, work closely with smart people, and have a big say in how things are built

  • Flexible hybrid setup: just 1 day/month in the office, with remote-first autonomy

  • Wellness allowance (£125/month), solid benefits, and a genuinely high-trust culture
