IT Procurement Manager

MCS Group is working exclusively with a high-growth, international technology company who is scaling their operations in Northern Ireland. We're looking for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to join their business, take ownership of software, hardware, and IT services spend within this complex, global organisation. This is the perfect opportunity for a procurement manager will strong experience in working within technology and is seeking a role which offers genuine scope and influence.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you'll run sourcing activity end to end - from spend analysis and RFPs through to contract negotiation, renewals, and supplier management. You'll partner closely with IT, Legal, Finance, and senior stakeholders, acting as the commercial lead on technology procurement.

What you'll be doing

• Owning IT procurement strategy across software, hardware, and services

• Leading RFP/RFQ processes from start to finish

• Negotiating IT and software contracts, renewals, and commercial terms

• Managing key suppliers and driving value, cost optimisation, and risk control

• Working closely with senior stakeholders and presenting with clarity and confidence

What we're looking for

• Proven experience negotiating IT contracts (software ideally)

• Strong background in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial management

• Confident reviewing contracts and leading negotiations independently

• Comfortable balancing stakeholder needs with commercial discipline

• Organised, pragmatic, and happy working autonomously

Nice to have

• SAP / Ariba or similar procurement tools would be highly advantageous - but exposure to tools like Oracle or Coupa also considered.

Salary

Up to £70,000 with a leading benefits package.
