IT Manager

MCS Group is currently working along side a specialist construction company based in Newry who are currently on the lookout for an IT Manager to take on all of the IT responsibilities and set out an internal growth plan to build out their team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily administration of Office 365, related Microsoft products, and all business applications (onsite, remote, cloud).
Support data cleansing and updates for all business information.
Maintain and ensure operational functionality of LAN and WAN network equipment.
Manage IT cybersecurity in collaboration with external partners, ensuring all devices are patched and secure.
Develop and monitor the effectiveness of IT Partners.
Lead project management and implementation of the IT strategy, ensuring the safety and security of the organisation's IT network and digital assets.
Educate users on IT Security and provide necessary training.
Maximise the core ERP system's potential by adopting new features and functions, and assist with business system process documentation to meet ISO standards.
Collaborate with senior management to develop IT BCP Plans, manage the DR function, and direct the digitisation strategy.
Develop core skills in Business Information management within ERP systems.
Assess IT requirements and recommend acquisitions or upgrades, performing cost/benefit analysis and presenting findings to Senior Management.
Continuously learn about new technologies and propose their implementation within the organisation.

Essential

Minimum of 4 year's experience in an IT supervisory or management role.
Practical experience with factory hardware and software support, MS Windows, Active Directory, and MS Office Suite.
Experience with ERP support and implementation experience
Experience with LAN and WAN networking technologies.

Remuneration:
Salary: up to £55,000
Monday - Friday
