IT Infrastructure Project Engineer

MCS Group is proud to be exclusively partnering with an MSP that is seeking to bring on board a Project Engineer to take responsibility for running business-critical projects for a fantastic array of clients. In this role, you will take ownership of their products, ensuring clients are given the best technical solutions for their needs, and then coordinate, design and ultimately deploy these solutions in what will be a critical role for them and their ambitious growth plans.

The role

• You will provide essential troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across many areas as the senior point of escalation across business critical projects
• You will be responsible for the installation, configuration and ongoing support of IT systems and projects covering a range of areas, from post-sale to the successful delivery of the body of work
• You will be supporting systems around complex business critical systems for a variety of clients across NI
• Get involved in all elements of project work, from the design, and configuration, to delivery

About you:

• You have strong experience across digital transformation projects
• You will have acted as a senior point of escalation at a 3rd line level
• You will have worked with the Microsoft stack and have strong Azure cloud knowledge
• Experience or knowledge of, networking, migrations, security and IT infrastructure
• You will have led teams, coordinated their activities based on evolving priorities, and be able to represent the company and your team in front of clients in a helpful, professional and objective manner
