IT Analyst

MCS Group has a 12-month temporary position available for an IT Analyst in Belfast. This IT Analyst will join a giant in the manufacturing sector, on-site at their Belfast location. You will use your existing IT Support skill set to help ensure effective service delivery across the company's infrastructure. This IT Analyst will play a vital part in delivering and supporting IT services across infrastructure, asset management, and security compliance, while contributing to continuous improvement and customer experience initiatives.

The Role

• Deliver effective IT infrastructure and system support services.
• Perform hardware/software upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and asset management.
• Support system testing, issue resolution, and escalations across business units.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IT security.

The Person:

• IT related degree or IT experience.
• Minimum 3 Years hands-on experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience supporting multiple business units or global teams.
• Project management and vendor coordination experience.
• Strong analytical skills
• Basic Microsoft 365 skills required.

Desirable:

• Server/infrastructure and networking knowledge would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with database systems, desktop support, and telecommunications.

Duration: 12-Months initially
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland (On-site)
Working Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday-Friday, 7am Start
Rate: £37,144-£40,404 (paid as an hourly rate)
