Internal Sales Representative

MCS Group is currently working exclusive with a leading plumbing and bathroom distributor in Northern Ireland to recruit an Internal Sales Representative. The successful candidate will support and work alongside the Field Sales Representatives, manage key accounts, and promote new business.

This will be an in-office position in Lisburn, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. On offer is an attractive base salary of £25,000-£30,000 with additional bonus, as well as a host of other benefits. Core Responsibilities:

• Outbound telephone and email sales - promoting existing and new products, special offers and discontinued stock
• Upselling on telephone calls and maximising the value of the orders
• Create and review sales data drills and communicate the information with the Field Sales Representatives and Sales Office team
• Generate sales orders, sales quotations, invoices and statements
• Create purchase orders for one-off / special sales orders
• Liaise with customers to inform them of any price discrepancies on orders, stock availability issues and offer a suitable alternative product where necessary
• Internal sales support to the Field Sales Representatives
• Provide after sales support to customers, contractors, and end users

• Attend trade shows/festivals and marketing events to increase brand awareness and achieve distribution across customer base

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work as part of a team
• Good planning, organisational and time management skills
• Experience of plumbing and bathroom products a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to use your own initiative and make informed decisions
