HR Systems Specialist

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with this large public sector organisation in their search for a HR Systems Specialist.

The role:

• Identify system and process improvements and develop specifications and change requests, collaborate with the wider team to plan and implement.
• Plan and test system patches and upgrades in HR systems by developing test plans based on HR and payroll process knowledge.
• Resolve system related issues and collaborate with stakeholders to bring about resolution.
• Manage system upgrades, understand implications for HR system changes.
• Provide advice to end users of the system, escalate issues as appropriate.
• Provide training to users on new processes.
• Develop training materials.
• Participate in a programme of data cleanse, reviewing and refining of data.
• Lead a plan of ongoing audit reviews of data in system.
• Lead and manage various projects as required.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English and Maths at Grace C or above.
• Experience working with HR and Payroll processes.
• Understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
• Testing of payroll/financial/corporate systems.
• Utilisation of reporting systems.
