The role:

  • Advise managers on HR matters, employment law, and best practice.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, including discipline, grievance, and attendance.
  • Support investigations, hearings, and appeals with accurate documentation.
  • Deliver early intervention and risk management through mediation and resolution.
  • Manage employee relations and prepare documentation for legal proceedings.
  • Lead recruitment, ensure accurate records, and liaise on payroll and contracts.
  • Promote equality, train managers, and engage with stakeholders and unions.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

  • CIPD level 5 qualification
  • Experience in Recruitment OR Employee Relations
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic and professional manner;

In addition to the standard pre-employment checks, this position will also be subject to receipt of a satisfactory Basic AccessNI check.
