The Organisation:

The role:
- Provide accurate HR advice to managers and staff, maintain HRIS records, and ensure compliance with HR policies, equality duties, and legislation.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, terms and conditions, and best-practice HR guidance.
- Lead full recruitment and onboarding processes, including campaign coordination, pre-employment checks, induction, and probation.
- Support learning and development through sourcing and coordinating training opportunities.
- Analyse HR data (absence, turnover, training) to identify issues, improve processes, and maintain effective records.
- Contribute to Corporate Services activities such as payroll support, FOI/data protection responses, and collaborative cross-team work.
- Uphold NICCY's mission, values, and standards through compliant, safe, and accountable working.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- Relevant HR degree, equivalent qualification, or equivalent HR experience.
- Minimum 2 years' HR experience, including advising on policy and employee relations matters.
- Associate Membership of CIPD.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently, use initiative, and solve problems proactively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook).
